THE JAVITS CENTER REVEALED

More than at any time since its opening in 1986, the Javits Center is fulfilling its mission as the Marketplace for the World®

The Javits Center is the busiest convention center in the US, hosting the world's leading conventions, trade shows and special events on Manhattan's West Side. With 840,000 square feet of flexible exhibition space and 102 meeting rooms on four levels, the iconic structure generates up to $1.9 billion of economic activity for New York and supports up to 17,700 jobs a year. It’s no wonder that 35,000 companies choose it as their preferred venue every year. Underscoring its role as the country’s busiest convention center, the Javits Center recently completed a sweeping 5-year, $460 million renovation noted for the construction of the 110,000-square-foot Javits North exhibit hall and installation of the largest green roof in the Northeast. And when you consider that the new Javits Center sits at the nexus of Manhattan’s resurgent, bustling West Side neighborhood, it’s easy to see why whatever’s happening, happens here.
